Looking for a relaxing and creative night out with friends—or hoping to meet some amazing new women?
Join AME Lounge for an evening of creativity, laughter and connection as we create beautiful hand-painted wooden fans featuring delicate watercolour cherry blossoms.
No artistic experience is necessary! We'll begin the evening with a fun, beginner-friendly introduction to watercolour painting, where you'll learn how different amounts of water affect colour, blending and technique. You'll have time to experiment and build confidence before creating your own unique keepsake.
Once you've had a chance to play with the paints, you'll be guided through painting your elegant wooden-handled fan to take home and enjoy all summer long.
And yes... it may come in handy for those warm August evenings—or the occasional "personal summer!" 😉

What time does the event actually start?
Event will run from 7:30-9:30pm. Doors open at 7pm and you are more then welcome to stay and mingle till 11pm.
Where is the Event being held?
The Whitby Yacht Club. 701 Gordon Street, Whitby, Ontario. The Compass Rose Lounge is fully accessible and a beautiful banquet hall, offering a spectacular lake and harbour views in air-conditioned comfort.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely! Many guests attend on their own. Our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable.
Is there assigned seating?
No. Grab a seat at a table and mingle, enjoy the evening.
Will tickets be available at the door?
If space remains available. We recommend purchasing in advance as ticket sales will be capped.
What is the age requirement?
This is a 19+ event.
